On August 11th, 2016, the Alexander Family Foundation and Events(AFFE), was established from a desire to make a difference in the community. The mission of AFFE is to ensure that the less fortunate in Fond St. Jacques and Soufriere have access to basic necessities. Maylisa and her husband Gary realised their blessing in being able to provide for their own family. So the couple decided to help other families in need.

As the co-founder and Vice President of The Alexander Family Foundation, Gary’s heart is filled with warmth to see his God-fearing wife Maylisa, ensure that she fulfils her mission to meet the needs of the underprivileged. Her strength and leadership motivates him to press forward in order to reach many more families. “Maylisa’s devotion to our four beautiful children, Laila, Mateo, Syah and Blake, truly sets her apart.” As a team, Maylisa and Gary are determined to serve the community with respect, excellence and confidence.

R’Montay is a vibrant and passionate young man who is ready to create an opportunity for growth and impact in every community he serves. He is determined to fulfil his role concerning AFFE staff, clients and the community. He looks forward to strengthening his relationship with the community.
Darnally views AFFE as an organisation with a heart. “It is a place where the people of our community come first and the will of God is always at the forefront.” She is dedicated to AFFE to ensure the advancement of work in the community.
Porcia is a nurturer at heart with her superpower to help others. She also uses her power to advocate for others to find a voice and confidence in the issues of their lives. As a founding team member from the inception of Porcia’s service is essential to our community, through her dedication to be ready & willing to stand in the gap for AFFE. Porcia appreciates the work accomplished in the community by the founders of AFFE.
As Treasurer of AFFE, Eugenia is a valuable asset to the organisation. Being of service to her community has taught her to be humble and positive. In these uncertain times for many families, Eugenia hopes that AFFE will continue to foster the support of many prominent individuals and businesses.
